The Pomperaug Panthers basketball team (Southbury, CT), was nudged 41-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Foran Lions (Milford, CT)
The Lions now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunnell for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Foran will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-60 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers come into the Southwest battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Masuk was nudged by Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 79-50, in a league battle.
