Alabama High School Basketball - Huntsville knocked off by Pinson Valley

The Pinson Valley Indians basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Huntsville Panthers to 59 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mortimer Jordan for a 6A Area 12 contest on Thursday, January 19. Pinson Valley will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 75-68 non-league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-11.

The Panthers (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Mae Jemison ran past Lawrence County (Moulton, AL), 50-33, in a non-league contest.
