The Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) basketball knocked off the host Kaynor Tech Panthers (Waterbury, CT), 79-71 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Hawks (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Kennedy went down by Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT), 65-47, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Wolcott RVT for a Connecticut Technical - West test on Tuesday, January 24. Kaynor Tech will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
