The Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) basketball nipped the host Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 52-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lancers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Hubs go into the CMC test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, North Hagerstown got by Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD), 53-41, in a league test.
The Owls now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to South Carroll for a Carroll County test on Friday, January 20. Westminster will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 68-57 league win over Century (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-8.
