Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA), 61-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Sierra Canyon upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Trailblazers travel to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Mission bout on Friday, January 20. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Harvard-Westlake won 85-78 in their recent league bout against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA)

Next up, the Golden Knights play the Alemany Warriors (Mission Hills, CA) in a Mission bout, on Friday, January 20. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 55-48 league loss to Loyola (Los Angeles, CA).
