The Tates Creek Commodores basketball team (Lexington, KY), was overwhelmed 54-27 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY)
The Rockets now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Male for a District 26 battle on Friday, January 20.
The Commodores (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights come into the District 43 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Lexington Catholic trounced Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 53-50, in a league battle.
