The Poca The Dots basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Buffalo Bison to 29 in the The Dots non-league victory on Wednesday.
The The Dots now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Poca will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-18 league loss to Man (Man, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-9.
The Bison (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV). The Rebels come into the Freelance contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Tolsia triumphed over Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV), 57-48, in a league contest.
