In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Pymatuning Valley Lakers basketball team scored a good 49-29 triumph over the Conneaut Spartans.

In their next game, the Lakers meet the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) in a Northeastern match, on Monday, January 23. Pymatuning Valley will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.

With the defeat, Conneaut moves to 2-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Beachwood (Beachwood, OH) to meet the Bison in a non-league match on Saturday, January 21. The Bison enter the match with a record of 3-11. Beachwood lost 48-16 in their recent league match against Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH)
