In Wednesday's league outing, the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME), by a count of 64-22.

The Cougars (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against Winthrop (Winthrop, ME). The Ramblers go into the C South outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Winthrop was crushed by North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME), 79-31, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Kents Hill School for a C South outing on Saturday, January 21. Wiscasset will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 74-32 league win over Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 7-0.
