The Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) basketball knocked off the host Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 51-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Colonels (7-5) will now prepare for their test against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record.
The Panthers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Windham for a Eastern Connecticut - 3 test on Friday, January 20. Plainfield will encounter a Whippets squad coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Whippets record now stands at 5-6.
