St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA), 52-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph's Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Redstickers travel to Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-13.

Next up, the Eagles play the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 46-40 non-league win over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA).
