Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northwest Area nips Neumann Regional Academy

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) and the visiting Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights (Williamsport, PA), saw Northwest Area's basketball squad hold off Neumann Regional Academy by a tally of 52-46.
With the victory, Northwest Area improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Millville (Millville, PA) to play the Quakers in a Mid-Penn - D4 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6.
Next up, the Golden Knights play the Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA) in a Mid-Penn - D4 challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Neumann Regional Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 58-21 league loss to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA).
