North Carolina High School Basketball - NorthPoint Christian Academy topped by Queen's Grant

The NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks basketball team (Waxhaw, NC), dropped 56-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC)

The Stallions now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carolina International for a 1A Conference 38 battle on Thursday, January 19. Queen's Grant will battle a Comets team coming off a 19-12 league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Comets record now stands at 1-10.

The NightHawks (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Preparatory Christian (Mooresville, NC). The Patriots come into the Metro Area battle with a 12-3 record.
