In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), by a margin of 68-34.
The Panthers (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Skippers go into the 5A District 6 outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Mandeville smashed St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 61-47, in a non-league outing.
The Buccaneers now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chalmette for a 5A District 8 outing on Thursday, January 19. West Jefferson will clash with a Owls squad coming off a 49-35 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Owls record now stands at 5-3.
