In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Fayette County Tigers basketball team scored a good 44-36 triumph over the Northgate Vikings.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 21. Fayette County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 4-7 record after their 50-30 non-league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).
