Keys Gate Knights (Homestead, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sunset Knights (Miami, FL), 53-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Keys Gate upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL) to play the Bears in a bout on Friday, January 20. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Mater Lakes Academy lost 66-55 in their recent league bout against Riviera Prep (Miami, FL)

Next up, the Knights play the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes (Homestead, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Sunset will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 25-23 non-league loss to Varela (Miami, FL).
