Lima Christian Saints (Lima, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Vertus Warriors (Rochester, NY), 59-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lima Christian upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Saints host Gow (South Wales, NY) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Gow lost 44-18 in their recent non-league bout against Lima Christian (Lima, NY)

Next up, the Warriors play the Northstar Christian Academy Knights (Rochester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Vertus will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
