Reagan Bison (Doral, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Varela Vipers (Miami, FL), 52-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Reagan upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Bison host Hialeah Gardens (Hialeah Gardens, FL) to play the Gladiators in a bout on Thursday, January 19. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Hialeah Gardens lost 67-57 in their recent non-league bout against Miami (Miami, FL)

Next up, the Vipers play the Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Varela will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 55-49 non-league loss to Miami (Miami, FL).
