The Citrus Hurricanes soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Dunnellon Tigers to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Belleview Rattlers (Belleview, FL) in a 5A D4 contest, on Friday, January 20. Citrus will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Rattlers enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 1-1 non-league Forest (Ocala, FL).
The Tigers now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Dunnellon will face a Celtics team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL). The Celtics record now stands at 7-4.
