The St. Patrick Fighting Irish held off the visiting Pass Christian Pirates soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Sumrall for a non-league match on Thursday, January 19. St. Patrick will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Pass Christian drops to 14-7 on the season.
