The Hatton/Northwood Thunder basketball team (Northwood, ND), dropped 60-50 in Thursday's league battle with the host Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats (Leeds, ND)

The Wildcats now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Larimore for a B District 4 battle on Monday, January 22. Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 58-56 non-league win over Cavalier (Cavalier, ND). The Polar Bears record now stands at 8-4.

The Thunder (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] beat Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND), 66-47, in a league battle.
