Pennsylvania High School Basketball - String Theory nips Boys' Latin Charter

January 18, 2024: Philadelphia, PA 19102

String Theory (Philadelphia, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Boys' Latin Charter (Philadelphia, PA), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, String Theory upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The travel to Abington Friends (Jenkintown, PA) to clash with the in a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. The go into the outing with a record of 3-9. Abington Friends lost 81-67 in their recent non-league outing against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA)

The now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Academy at Palumbo for a Philadelphia Public - Liberty outing on Tuesday, January 23. Boys' Latin Charter will clash with a Griffin squad coming off a 56-49 league win over Frankford (Philadelphia, PA). The Griffin record now stands at 6-4.

The String Theory (Philadelphia, PA) varsity basketball team won Thursday's home conference game against Boys' Latin Charter (Philadelphia, PA) in overtime by a score of 57-55.
