California Pintos (California, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Linn Wildcats (Linn, MO), 67-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, California upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Pintos host Owensville (Owensville, MO) to clash with the Dutchmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Owensville lost 69-38 in their recent non-league bout against Nevada (Nevada, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the New Bloomfield Wildcats (New Bloomfield, MO) in a ShowMe bout, on Friday, January 19. Linn will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 53-51 non-league win over North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO).
