North Carolina High School Basketball - Davidson Day succumbs to Carmel Christian

The Carmel Christian Cougars topped the host Davidson Day Patriots basketball team by a final score of 65-55 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 19. Carmel Christian will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 5-11 record after their 57-43 league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC).

With the defeat, Davidson Day moves to 11-6 on the year. The Patriots host Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Vikings in a NCISAA Foothills game on Friday, January 19.
