The Chambers Academy Rebels basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Oaks The Mighty Oaks to 51 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rebels now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeside School for a AISA AA Region 1 contest on Friday, January 19. Chambers Academy will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 76-60 league loss to Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-12.

The The Mighty Oaks (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Ezekiel Academy was nudged by Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL), 76-37, in a non-league contest.
