With the win, Newman upgrades its record to 2-11 on the season. The Fighting Cardinals travel to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran won 57-39 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta (Augusta, WI)

Next up, the Screaming Eagles play the Phillips Loggers (Phillips, WI) in a Marawood - North bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Chequamegon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Loggers go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Stratford (Stratford, WI).
