Deerfield Demons (Deerfield, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI), 76-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Deerfield upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Demons host Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the Jefferson Eagles (Jefferson, WI) in a Rock Valley - Valley bout, on Monday, January 22. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 70-62 non-league win over Big Foot (Walworth, WI).
