Alaska High School Basketball - Eagle River nudges Mountain City Christian Academy

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) basketball squad edged the visiting Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK), by a count of 55-52.

The Wolves (1-8) will now prepare for their outing against Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Kings go into the non-league outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Ketchikan held off Palmer (Palmer, AK), 77-64, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, January 26. Mountain City Christian Academy will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-4.
