The Paramus Spartans basketball team (Paramus, NJ), was nudged 55-51 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ)
The Cutters now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bergenfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. Fair Lawn will battle a Bears team coming off a 75-55 non-league loss to St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 7-8.
The Spartans (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Tenafly edged Dumont (Dumont, NJ), 45-43, in a non-league battle.
