With the win, Gore upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Pirates travel to Porum (Porum, OK) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Porum won 63-23 in their recent non-league bout against Midway (Council Hill, OK)

Next up, the play the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 66-209 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 79-59 non-league win over Glennallen (Glennallen, AK).
