Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 60-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pilgrim upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to play the Tigers in a Division 2 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Tiverton won 46-36 in their recent non-league bout against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI)

Next up, the Blue Wave play the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 46-36 non-league loss to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI).
