The Inola Longhorns basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Sequoyah Indians to 38 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Thursday.
The Longhorns now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okay for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Inola will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 79-41 non-league win over Cushing (Cushing, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-3.
The Indians (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cushing (Cushing, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Cushing was defeated by Okay (Okay, OK), 79-41, in a non-league contest.
