The West Philadelphia Speedboys basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting John Bartram Braves to 50 in the Speedboys league triumph on Thursday.

The Speedboys now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sports Leadership & Management for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. West Philadelphia will meet a Spartans team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Arts (Newark, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 10-6.

The Braves (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Panthers enter the Philadelphia Public - Independence contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Imhotep Charter was routed by Quincy (Quincy, IL), 74-62, in a non-league contest.
