Woodland Cardinals (Marble Hill, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kelly Hawks (Benton, MO), 79-71 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodland upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a Stoddard County bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Delta Bobcats (Delta, MO) in a Scott-Mississippi bout, on Friday, January 19. Kelly will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record.
