Iowa High School Basketball - Lisbon tipped by West Branch

The West Branch Bears basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Lisbon Lions to 43 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maquoketa for a River Valley contest on Saturday, January 20. West Branch will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Cascade (Cascade, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-5.
The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Pirates enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Alburnett nudged North Linn (Troy Mills, IA), 52-45, in a league contest.
