Minnesota High School Basketball - Triton topped by Maple River

The Maple River Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Triton Cobras to 63 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Maple River will battle a Bison team coming off a 66-52 league loss to Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Bison record now stands at 7-5.
The Cobras (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets come into the AA Section 1 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Randolph was defeated by Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN), 83-75, in a non-league bout.
