The St. Rose Purple Roses basketball team scored 93 points and held the host Matawan Regional Huskies to 52 in the Purple Roses league triumph on Thursday.

The Purple Roses now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramapo for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. St. Rose will battle a Raiders team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 9-5.

The Huskies (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Toms River North (Toms River, NJ). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record.
