The Mt. Edgecumbe Braves basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting North Pole Patriots to 48 in the Braves non-league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ben Eielson for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Mt. Edgecumbe will battle a Ravens team coming off a 78-23 non-league loss to Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Ravens record now stands at 1-8.
The Patriots (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Whalers come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Barrow triumphed over Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK), 78-23, in a non-league contest.
