The Raritan Rockets basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Neptune Scarlet Fliers to 35 in the Rockets league triumph on Thursday.
The Rockets now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ocean Township for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Raritan will battle a Spartans team coming off a 48-35 league loss to Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-8.
The Scarlet Fliers (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Brick Memorial ran past Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
