North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA), 60-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Fayette Valley upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The travel to Postville (Postville, IA) to play the Pirates in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, January 19. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Postville lost 74-61 in their recent non-league bout against Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN)

Next up, the Huskies play the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Oelwein will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
