The Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ), 59-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Maroons (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Payne Tech thwarted Newark Tech (Newark, NJ), 73-67, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host North Star Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Passaic will encounter a squad coming off a 48-46 league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The record now stands at 4-8.
