Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ), 63-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sterling upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Silver Knights travel to Eastern (Voorhees, NJ) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Eastern won 47-36 in their recent league bout against Cherokee (Marlton, NJ)

Next up, the Thundering Herd clash with the Cherry Hill West Lions (Cherry Hill, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Woodbury will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 48-45 league win over Winslow Township (Atco, NJ).
