The Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) basketball felled the host Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 61-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Carlsbad was beaten by Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM), 34-21, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Colts now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Cobre for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30.
