The Central Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Classical Purples to 46 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Central will battle a Kilties team coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 0-3.

The Purples (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record.
