In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Adams Central Patriots basketball team scored a decisive 57-36 triumph over the Northwest Vikings.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a C1 District 9 match, on Saturday, January 20.
