    In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting McDonald County Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 62-40 triumph over the Adrian Blackhawks.

    In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Cassville Wildcats (Cassville, MO) in a Big 8 match, on Tuesday, January 23. McDonald County will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record.

    With the defeat, Adrian moves to 6-4 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Rich Hill (Rich Hill, MO) to meet the Tigers in a Western Missouri match on Friday, January 19. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-6.
