The Tyro Christian Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Altoona-Midway Jets to 41 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

With the victory, Tyro Christian upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Liberty HomeSchool Alliance (Yates Center, KS) to play the Arrows in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Arrows come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Jets play the Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Altoona-Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
