In Thursday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA), by a margin of 44-37.
The Chipmunks (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars go into the 5A District 9 outing with a 14-12 record. In their last outing, Edna Karr was tipped by John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA), 87-52, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cohen for a non-league outing on Monday, January 22.
