Boonville Pirates (Boonville, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Blair Oaks Falcons (Jefferson City, MO), 76-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Boonville upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Skyline (Urbana, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Skyline won 81-31 in their recent non-league bout against Blair Oaks (Jefferson City, MO)

Next up, the Falcons play the Linn Wildcats (Linn, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Blair Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 53-27 non-league loss to Centralia (Centralia, MO).
