The Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Brick Township Green Dragons (Brick, NJ), 42-32 in Thursday's league test.

The Rams (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ). The go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Ranney was topped by St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 69-29, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Green Dragons clash with the Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Brick Township will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Piners go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 71-14 non-league loss to Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ).
